Traditional meets modern in this new age Caribbean cuisine restaurant brought to you by Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph of E&R Hospitality Group. The name refers to the Canje Pheasant the national bird of Guyana. We will pull inspiration not just from mainland Guyana but from many of the islands in the region. From Jamaica to Puerto Rico, Canje will explore cooking techniques, ingredients, and the many expressions of vibrant food across the region. Tucked away on the east side of Austin, this lively environment will have a unique cocktail program boasting both spirit forward and fruit driven cocktails and a small selection of natural wines.
