History
Established in 1976.
Smokey John's has always been a family-owned and operated business. The foundation of the business was laid by John, his wife Gloria "Momma Reaves," and his cousin "Rent." Momma Reaves and Rent are gone to be with the Lord and are now the company's biggest cheerleaders in heaven. Today the business is managed by Smokey's sons, Brent and Juan, while his daughter Yulise, the attorney of the family, offers her expertise as a legal consultant for the company. Smokey can still be found at the restaurant on occasion, but he spends most of his time exploring new business opportunities and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ locally and nationally.
